I like using these scooters because they’re super convenient, but I’m not totally convinced the battery estimate is dependable. A couple of times it looked like there was enough range left, then it died after just a few streets. I had to walk around and find another scooter, which was really frustrating, especially when I was already running late.

"Easy to change my drop-off"
I had to change my drop-off halfway through the ride because I suddenly remembered I was meant to meet a friend somewhere else. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s had plans change last minute, and Bolt made it really simple to fix in the app.
The driver saw the updated destination right away, the price changed clearly, and there weren’t any awkward extra steps. For passengers who need a bit of flexibility, this is genuinely useful.

The trip tracking has been accurate for me overall. It did lag once, but that can happen with any app using GPS. As long as it’s right most of the time, that’s what matters to me.

The ride was really clean and comfortable, and I appreciated that there were no weird smells at all. The seats looked well-kept, the floor was tidy, and it just felt like the driver takes good care of the car. Super easy, pleasant experience.

I use Bolt every now and then, and I like that the price usually shows up before I book. It makes it way easier to decide if I actually want to take the ride instead of just hoping it won’t be too much. I do sometimes wonder if the estimate is kept a little on the nicer side to get you to confirm, because the final price can change a bit with traffic or waiting. But to be fair, the app does explain it clearly enough, so it’s not like it feels totally random. Overall, solid experience

"ETA is pretty much always right"
I use Bolt a lot, and the arrival time is usually really accurate. If it says 4 minutes, the driver normally shows up around then, not ages later like I’ve had with some other apps. It’s handy when I’m rushing, I can plan better and not just stand around waiting. Haven’t had any major issues so far

"Pretty handy when traveling with my kid"
I’ve used Bolt a few times with my little one, i was a bit unsure at first, but being able to choose a ride with a child seat was really helpful. It saves me from dragging our own seat around, especially on airport trips. The drivers were nice, and the seats seemed clean enough to me. It’s not available everywhere all the time, which is a little annoying, but when you can get it, it works really well. I’d give it 5 stars.

I use Bolt often, and it’s become one of those things I don’t even think twice about anymore. My brain just goes, “Need a ride? Open Bolt.” There’s almost always a car nearby, and even later in the evening I usually don’t wait long. It just makes getting around a lot easier for me

"Car size can be a bit hit or miss"
I booked a bigger car on Bolt, but twice now a smaller one showed up instead 😕 The drivers were totally fine, no issue there, but the car type shown in the app doesn’t always seem accurate. It’s frustrating when you’ve got luggage or extra people with you.

Overall, I’ve had a good experience using this for wheelchair rides. Most drivers are kind and usually help me with my wheelchair, which I really appreciate. I do wish the app showed more accessibility details upfront, though, because some confusion feels totally avoidable.

Most of my rides have been fine. Some drivers are really polite, show up on time, no issues at all. Then every now and then, you get someone who seems rushed. A little distracted maybe. Not very professional. Nothing terrible happened, just feels like it could be better and more consistent.

I ordered dinner and started noticing the ETA kept shifting every time I checked the app, which usually isn’t a great sign. Sure enough, the food showed up almost 50 minutes late, and by then it was cold. I get that delays happen, but the constantly changing time made it more frustrating. Not a great experience overall.

"Verification was surprisingly painless"
I set up my Bolt account and, the verification was easy. I just took a photo of my ID and it went through faster than I expected, which was a nice change since these things usually act like you're trying to break into a bank vault. I didn’t have to redo it a bunch of times, thankfully. The app could maybe explain the steps a little better, but sure, I figured it out eventually. Overall, it was fine.

So, my account ended up getting suspended, and I was kind of unsure what was going on at first. But they did check into it and, like, actually explained the reason why. It took a little while, but overall it felt fair to me.

I was kind of expecting the cancellation to be a hassle, but it actually went smoothly. I didn’t enjoy having to cancel in the first place, yet I have to admit the refund was sorted quickly and didn’t cause any drama.

Overall, it worked out fine for what I needed. The driver was helpful and made sure my two bags fit in the trunk, which I appreciated. That said, the trunk was already close to full, so it took a little adjusting to get everything in there properly. Not a huge issue, but if I’d had another bag or anything bulky, it probably would’ve been a bit of a problem.

"Charged Twice and Had to Keep Chasing Support"
I got charged twice for a single ride, getting it sorted was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. I contacted support thinking it would be a quick fix, but they kept sending me the same copy-paste response and I had to explain the situation over and over. After a while I had to push harder and escalate the complaint because nobody seemed to actually read what I was saying. I did eventually get my money back, but it took too long and the whole process was confusing and annoying
